Amazing Print Quality / Environmentally Friendly
Our Wild Apple Open Studio prints offer amazing detail across a wide range of colors when printed directly onto clear acrylic, brushed aluminum, rich-grained birch or exotic, eco-friendly bamboo. Printing directly onto these substrates adds shadow and depth to prints, such as on clear acrylic, which is mounted ¾" away from the wall. The natural sheen of brushed aluminum shines through printed images, and the rich texture of birch or bamboo is evident in artwork printed on these two natural substrates. In the past, paper or plastic prints have been laminated onto various materials, but this resulted in a dull, flat look.
Our grand-format printer utilizes the most advanced print head technology available, generating true 1200 dpi. This high performance piezoelectric jetting technology produces consistent ink output, which is ideal for fine art reproduction. Our UV-curable, pigmented inks are 100% solvent-free with no volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions. These inks are not only a more environmentally friendly alternative to other print technologies, but they create fine art prints with a vibrant full color gamut, superior light fastness, abrasion resistance, durability, and excellent adhesion. In fact, images printed with UV inks will likely outlast the substrates they are printed on!
