Handling and Care

Like all fine art, you should not hang our direct-to-substrate prints in direct sunlight, or clean with any chemical liquids. To keep your prints clean and sharp-looking, we recommend that you occasionally dust lightly with soft cloth or duster.

For acrylic artwork, to easily remove stubborn dirt without harming the artwork, you can use a mild solution of dish detergent and warm water, with a non-abrasive cloth. Never use cleaners containing ammonia, such as Windex, 409 or any furniture spray on your acrylic artwork.

Artwork printed on birch and bamboo is hand-finished and sealed with a water-based acrylic coating on front and back. You can clean your birch or bamboo artwork as you would any other wood product in your home, but the artwork shouldn’t need more than an occasional dusting.

Like our prints on wood, the brushed aluminum prints should only require an occasional dusting; however, you can use mild dish detergent with a non-abrasive cloth for more thorough cleaning if necessary.
