Rich-grained birch wood offers a natural, warm look to complimentary imagery.  The birch is veneered to the front and back of medium-density fiberboard (MDF), which adds rigidity and stability.  MDF is an engineered wood product formed by breaking down softwood into wood fibers, combining it with wax and resin, and forming panels by applying high temperature and pressure. It is denser than normal particleboard. We cut a 3-step pattern at the back of each piece to enhance the look of the artwork “floating” away from the wall. Artwork printed on birch is hand-finished and sealed with Polyurethane on front and back.
